Masai Mara Safari - Rekero Camp

Photographer's Paradise

We endeavor to set out each morning before sunrise to make the most of the game viewing and photographic opportunities. We know the Mara and its wildlife intimately and keep in close contact with other naturalist guides throughout the year to enable us to take full advantage of the best sightings. Though we are renowned for our work with the Mara’s big cats we also love to explore the photographic possibilities offered by the 500 species of birds that are found here and to share our love of this Photographer’s Paradise with our guests. Guests are encouraged to bring their laptops so that we can review and critique their work.

Intimate Groups

We prefer to work with small groups – normally 8 to 16 guests – and where possible to have exclusive occupancy of the camps or lodges we use in the Mara. This helps to ensure you enjoy quality time with us, and for us to be as flexible as possible with the daily itinerary to take full advantage of whatever photographic highlights are on offer. We generally take a picnic breakfast with us on our morning game drives and return to camp for lunch. But anything is possible!

Jonathan and Angie Scott are undeniably one of the most amazing and inspiring couples I have ever had the privilege of meeting and travelling with. I can honestly say there is no-one else I would rather travel with than these two wonderful and talented people.
